I Cut My Hair!

As some of you’ve already seen on Instagram, I cut my hair! I have been thinking about doing this for awhile and I just decided to pull the plug and do it. I’ve never been one to be too attached to my hair. I’ve had black hair, blonde hair, long hair and even a super short bob. Although I’m not not attached, I am fairly picky and it is hard for me to trust someone new.

Now that I live in a new city I had to figure out a new place to go to get my hair cut with a new stylist. I did a lot of research on where to go and ultimately I picked the salon and stylist off of Instagram. I found Crown Beauty Bar who had a killer Instagram and truly showcased the awesome work they do. This made me feel very confident in what I was going to get.

On their Instagram they tag each of their stylist which have professional accounts to also showcase their work. I found Rebekah who seemed to fit my vibe and when I meant in her person she was a perfect fit for me. She did an awesome job and is also a fellow Texas girl.

I am so happy with how it turned out. My hair feels so much lighter and healthier and is perfect for summer. I am more a perfect curls kind of girl, so it’s going to take me a while to get this tosseled beachy waves look down. A few years ago I didn’t even know how to curl my hair so I think I can do get this down.
