In the words of Christian Dior, “You can wear black at any time. You can wear it at any age. You can wear it for almost any occasion.”
A little black dress is easily one of the most basic wardrobe staples every girl should have in their closet, but finding a little black dress is easier said than done. The qualities I look for in a little black dress is versatily, fit, uniqueness and confidence.
This LBD (little black dress) from Lily Rain meets all of those requirements especially fit. I have the hardest time shopping at boutiques because a lot of the times the smalls are still too big for me. Luckily, Lily Rain offers a good variety of styles in an extra small which is perfect for petite girls like me.
This LBD makes me feel confident with it’s off the shoulder silhouette and girly lace details. This dress makes a statement on it’s own so I left the accessories pretty subtle with a couple bracelets, a chic pair of sunglasses and a simple gold clutch – although this clutch has a minimalistic appearance there is a secret on the inside (more to come in a future post).
