A couple of weeks ago, a friend at work gave me a coupon for a free pair of Madewell jeans. I know, lucky right? Madewell is a sister company of J.Crew that specializes in denim. I have a lot of friends that rave about them and say they make your butt looks so good. I have been a previous Madewell customer, but only purchased tops that were on sale. Because I’m frugal, I typically get my jeans from Old Navy and normally don’t pay more than $20.
I went into my local Madewell and tried on a bunch of different jeans since I had a coupon. The minute I put the first pair of jeans on I knew what the hype was about. The jeans fit like a glove! They sucked everything in and lifted everything up. I went with the 9 inch rise that hits right at the belly button. I’m not one to pay attention to thigh gaps (because your girl loves junk food), but man did they make my inner thighs look good.
Jared, always tells me that you don’t need to wash your jeans every time you wear them. I never agreed because the cheap denim I was buying would lose it’s shape immediately after wearing. Now that I have a legit pair jeans I understand what he means. Your jeans will actually last longer the less you wash them. To be honest, I’ve had these jeans for about two months and worn them at least twice a week and have yet to wash them. The jeans keep their shape, feel and look amazing.
I picked a different type of color than I normally would go for, but I’m really digging it. I typically go for the dark wash, but since they were free I thought I would branch out and get more a distressed broken in color. I am seriously in LOVE with these jeans. The fit is perfect, the color is perfect, the quality is perfect and the length is perfect! I will definitely be purchasing more Madewell denim. Now that I know my size I will be scouring the sale page.
This post is not sponsored, I just wanted to share my honest thoughts about these jeans with you!
