Alright ladies, I just had this idea when I was in the shower (it’s where I do my best thinking) the point of The Thrifty Pineapple is for me to help you be a little more fashionable. I often times choose my blog posts based on trends I’m seeing or real life struggles I’ve had or friends of mine have had, but I want this to be a two way conversation. I want to be a good resource for you and to be your personal shopper.
One of my favorite past times is online window shopping. I frequently check out all my favorite brands just browsing through their new arrivals and looking at the latest trends.
This brings me to this idea, if you need a little help shopping, styling or just need an honest second opinion email me (angela@thethriftypineapple.com) or direct message me on Instagram and I will be there to help.
Give me a little back story about your situation and I will get back to you in a few days with some solutions.
Shopping:
If you need help shopping, simply shoot me a note with the occasion, price range, size, timing and any other valuable information and I’ll send you 3-5 options of items that would be perfect.
Example #1: I have an outdoor wedding coming up in May in Texas and I have no idea what to wear. My price range is $50-100 and I want to order soon. I’m self-conscious of my arms so I prefer something with sleeves.
Example #2: I’m 23 years old and I have a date next week with no clue what to wear. The date is going to be inside and we are going to dinner. I want to look cute, but not like I am trying to hard.
Styling:
If you need help styling something you already have, send me a message with a picture of the item. I’ll then send back some suggestions on how to wear it or style it.
Example #1: I have this bright spring flannel that I never wear because the colors are too bold.
Example #2: I have an interview tomorrow for an internship and I have this navy blazer but I don’t know what else to wear with it. Help!
General Fashion Advice:
If you are just stuck and need some advice. I’ve got your back! Again, just send me an email or DM and let me know your dilemma.
Example #1: I love this top, but it is $100. Is it worth the price?
Example #2: I have this chevron print top that I love, but is chevron print still in style? (The answer is no chevrons are soooo 2012.)
I love helping my friends shop and pick out outfits and y’all are all my friends so I want to help you! See you in my inbox!
